Welcome to our new SCSD Distance Learning Portal

Here you will find resources and daily lesson plans for your child(ren). Please see your school page to get announcements, guidelines, and procedures. Check in each day via the attendance form located on your school's grade level page. SCSD is obligated by the state of California to continue to track student “attendance.”

To ensure you are kept well-informed:

  • Please watch for and read any messages from Superintendent Harmeier in your email and posted to our district website.

  • Please watch for and read any messages from your principal or teacher(s) via email.

  • Please read the Parent's Guide to Distance Learning document (below) to tips and information.

Ordering Lunches:
Due to the closure of the ChoiceLunch facility, we are going to have to suspend lunch service beginning Friday, March 20. We will no longer be serving lunches after Friday. On Friday, March 20 you may come to 826 Chestnut Street between 11-1 to pick up as many lunches as you need.

If you need any assistance providing food for your children, please email Mindy Hill at mhill@scsdk8.org directly or call her at 650-517-3851. We are working with the City of San Carlos and other area agencies to develop ways to make sure everyone is fed.
