Class Agenda

FOR THIS WEEK

AGENDA FOR: jANUARY 13 - jANUARY 19

PRAYER

1 MINUTE

BEGINNING PRAYER: Heavenly Father, my teen life isn't always the easiest to navigate through. You call me to holiness and that isn't always an easy or clear path. But I know that you haven't called me to something without showing me the way. Help me to lean into this lesson with all of heart and reveal to me something new that will lead me closer to you. Prepare my mind, body, soul, and spirit for You in this moment. *Pray one Our Father* Amen.

WORKSHEET

JOURNAL

5 MINUTES

WHAT IS GOD SPEAKING TO YOU THROUGH HIS WORD? After reading all the verses from the BIBLE READ section of your worksheet, select ONE passage that speaks the most to you and begin a "text-conversation" with God about what He is speaking to you through that verse.

POSTCARD

5 MINUTES

MAILBOX PRAYER POSTCARD: Please choose one of the Mailbox Prayer postcards from your GIFT kit and color it. Flip it over and in the message section, write something uplifting, encouraging, or an expression of gratitude for: Fr. John and Fr. Smith (a separate one for each of them)

  • Please drop these off in the mail slot at the parish office door throughout this week. Our priests are in much need of our prayers and encouragement. Their job as priests is not easy and they are often times very busy throughout all hours of the day and night. A simple thank you for what they do for us or a short written prayer would be such a lift for them.

PRAY

1 MINUTE

THE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
