OPENING PRAYER: God you are so full of many wonderful miracles! You gave such great mercy to our Mother Mary and we blessed that she so generously shares that with us. Lord, let us think of your Mother. Let us ponder her desire and efforts to lead us closer to you. Let us listen to her urging on our hearts. *Pray ONE Hail Mary* Amen.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

60 MINUTES

MISSIONARY IMAGE VISITED ST. CHRISTOPHER PARISH: Did you know that SHE was HERE?! The school did an amazing Info and Rosary live-streamed event that I felt was so important to share with you. Let your spirits dive deep into this mystery. Through the rosary and her image, allow Mary to pray with you and allow her to take the petitions of your heart to her Son.

What you'll need:

  • A quiet place AND/OR headphones: This was a deeply spiritual experience for our in-class GIFT students as we rewatched the introduction portion and went to the chapel to spend time with her image. You can still enter into that experience through the live stream video and rosary. But I know how it can be at home...very distracting (at least in the Pope house it is). So do your best to eliminate as many distractions as possible for this one.

  • A rosary: I like having an actual rosary in my hand while I pray the rosary. I'm so easily distracted and when I have a bead in my hand, it helps me to focus my prayer intentions quite a bit better. If you don't have a rosary, then still follow along with the prayers or just allow your mind and heart to rest in the prayers as your spirit searches your prayer needs.

  • Spiritual Eyes: Many miracles and amazing things have been happening in my family since bringing Our Lady into the healing needs of my family. I encourage you to step out in faith with her and keep your spiritual eyes open to the ways God will reveal His will and His mercy upon you. With spiritual eyes, you will begin to see. BUT... always keep this verse in mind when you pray: James 4:3. God is not a genie or a grantor of wishes - you must consider what it is that you are praying for and for what purpose of friendship does it serve with God? And if at first you don't succeed...pray, pray again. :)

CLOSING PRAYER: God of infinate wonder and power, who are we that you should love us so much and desire to be so near to us? You chose a woman, a young girl, a poor girl, a teenager - she wasn't famous and probably few knew her name, but she loved you and through her she has brought many others to love you and to know your love as well. Thank you for your plan then and your plan for me now. Help me to remember that your plans for me are always better than I could ever imagine and with your Mother at my side, let me walk in the light of your faith towards the good have prepared for me. *Pray the CLOSING PRAYERS TO THE ROSARY* Amen.

Prayer After The Rosary: O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that, meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

V. May the divine assistance remain always with us.

R. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen: Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious Advocate, thy eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
