We currently don't sell Chicken Haddie. We have let Chef Charlotte and our research and development team know of your request.
We are so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our Lobster.
The Lobster is packed in sunflower oil and about 5% butter to enhance the taste. It sounds like you opened a can that does not meet our quality standards and would be happy to ship you new lobster cans.
We appreciate the feedback and will pass it along to our research and development team, and we hope you try our other products, we would appreciate the comparison and the feedback from you.
Our lobster cans are made with cooked lobster claw, knuckle, and tail meat preserved with butter, cold-pressed sunflower oil, and salt.
The great taste of Scout’s PEI lobster claw is still inside your can of Scout. We have decided to remove the claw that used to sit on top for improved texture and consistency. Each can of our PEI lobster still has the quality ingredients of MSC-certified PEI lobster including the claw, tail and knuckle meat.
We improved our formulation to offer a more consistent and better tasting product, still has the same high-quality Atlantic Lobster claw, knuckle and tail meat with our PEI butter and cold-pressed sunflower oil.
We currently do not carry tuna in water, however, we have passed along your preferences to our research and development team.
Our initial feedback of tuna in organic olive oil has been super positive. The olive oil helps lock in the moisture and gives it a great taste straight out of the can.

The texture and colour of the tuna in your can is completely normal. The texture is not as common as what you’ll find with many commodity brands.
At Scout, we only cook the tuna once in the can for taste and nutrition. This results in the protein coagulating (binding together rather than flaking apart and breaking down in the can).
Our tuna looks different compared to tuna that's been cooked before it’s placed in the can and then pressure cooked again. This process significantly reduces the nutritional benefits of the product. While it can sometimes visually be more appealing, we opted for a superior nutritional process in how we prepare our products.
Your Scout tuna can is perfectly safe to eat and we hope you enjoy the difference in taste and quality.
