Geo Art is the 2nd quarter project—the culmination of a semester-long learning trek. To prep for making these beautiful patterns using a compass and/or straightedge, students learn how to make square-based designs, pentagon-based designs, hexagon-based designs, and octagon-based designs. This page will present a number of pictures from past Geo Art projects so students can think about the concepts across the first semester and generate ideas for the required portfolio (6 total designs).
