Mr. Stewart grew up in Georgetown Kentucky and was a graduate of Scott County High School & ECS in 2015. He loved his high school years and education at ECS, which inspired him to become a high school teacher with the goal of teaching here once he graduated. Mr. Stewart graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2019 double majoring in Mathematics and Secondary STEM education. Mr. Stewart taught for 2 years in Shelby county before coming to ECS and is excited to work at ECS which was a big influence on him.
Mr. Stewart lives in Georgetown with his wife Megan (Also a former ECS graduate) and his two dogs Archie and Rosie. Mr. Stewart likes to read in his free time and is an avid collector of comic books, and action figures.
Fun fact: When he was student teaching, he slipped on ice and broke his femur in half and had to finish student teaching in a wheelchair. He recently had surgery to take out the rod that was helping it heal. The doctors said he broke the hardest bone in the body in the worst way.
