I hold my students to high standards because I know they are capable. While this information will be included in the syllabus link, I feel that it is important enough to mention it twice.
I believe students must take responsibility for their education. As the saying goes, "you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make them drink". I will provide all the resources that a student needs to succeed. However, I expect them to take responsibility and utilize those resources.
I do not tolerate plagiarism. A plagiarism contract will be sent home for parents and students to sign before their first writing assignment. Failure to sign this before this assignment is due will result in a deduction in their grade.
It is important to note that, while all the lessons can be found here, the homework will be uploaded to Google Classroom. Students are responsible for checking Google Classroom to ensure they do not miss any.
All written assignments must be completed using Google Docs. I will not accept any assignments turned in through Pages. If a written assignment is submitted in any form other than a Google Doc, it will result in an automatic late grade.
