On the day prior to the start of the school year, separate orientation sessions are held for all Year 7 students, for all Year 12 students and for all new students in Year 8 or above. Details are outlined in the year level section. Timetables are issued to students once they commence.

Shortly after school commences, orientation sessions are scheduled in the evening for parents of students in some year levels. This provides the opportunity to meet the teachers and leadership team and to learn about the program for the year. Dates will be advised closer to the time.
