Monday 20th April

Hello my lovely 6th class!

Welcome ''back to online school''!

I know it's not the ''welcome back'' we were hoping for :( and I know that you'd love to be back in school as you start your last term of 6th class. It's okay to feel sad and frustrated about that. I know it's hard and that you miss each other. But please try not to take it out on anyone in your house. Everyone is feeling the same sadness and frustration as you are, everyone from the 3 year olds to the 93 year olds all around the world! But, please know that, with each passing day, we are one day closer to being back in school, so try to stay optimistic! It feels better :)

I promise to try to fill this site with lots of pictures and videos for you to reminisce about and feel cheerful about - please check out 6th Class Hightlights So Far! tab if you haven't already! I'll update weekly as part of Throwback Thursdays!

You will get to make more memories together I am sure but in the mean time, please stay connected here. Just because we're not together as a class in school doesn't mean that we can't share, learn and connect with each other every day. We'll try have two Google meets call per week and please email me any work you've completed or any questions or requests you have (lspillane@scoiltreasanaofa.ie). Please try to continue on your school day at home and I promise to include some fun learning activities.

I'll continue like I have been doing - assigning you 4 daily fun challenges and now we will cover three subjects per day (Maths, English and one other). I will keep the same schedule every day from now on. Please scroll down to see the layout for today. As usual by now, there will be a Friday Corrections page where you can check your answers for the whole week.

Miss you all,

Ms. Spillane

P.S. Well done to Alex, Paul and Omar on working well on IXL during the holidays and earning 5 dojo points! Nice work boys!
