It’s Coming! Get Ready to Use High Quality Student Data to meet the needs of students and the requirements of OTES 2.0
This course will provide support for teachers to identify appropriate assessment instruments and learn how to use high-quality student data (HQSD) to meet the new requirements of OTES 2.0. By participating in the course, teachers will be prepared to use both formative classroom data and summative assessment data to make quality data driven instructional decisions that will increase student learning and provide evidence to rate skilled or accomplished in the HQSD area of the OTES 2.0 rubric.

1. Review the standards.
2. Review the pre-assessment data spreadsheet.
3. Create a list of things you notice about the data and students’ performance on the assessment.
4. Think about what the next steps for instruction may be for this group of students. Consider grouping, pacing, and strategies.
5. Create an instructional plan.
