OFFICIAL Transcripts for FORMER and CURRENT Students may be ordered via Parchment
Students who attend CASC have the opportunity to take courses at their local career centers. Each school district differs in whether or not they will allow students at Cyber Academy of SC to attend their career center. It is the responsibility of the student and LC/parent/guardian to contact the career center of choice to determine eligibility. Once eligibility is established, the student should contact their school counselor. An application must be completed each year the student plans to attend the local career center.
Attendance Policies
Students must attend at least 2 courses at CASC while also enrolled at their local career center.
With the first day of enrollment as the baseline, students who drop from a career center course within three days in a 45-day course, five days in a 90-day course or 10 days in a 180-day course will do so without penalty.
Students who withdraw from a course after the specified time will be assigned a WF and a numerical grade of 50 (F) will be calculated in the student’s overall grade point average.
Students enrolled at a career center are expected to report every day unless otherwise specified by the career center. Failure to attend could result in the student being dropped from the course, and a WF could be assigned.
The Career Center will report official grades to CASC at the end of each term. All grades will be recorded on the high school transcripts along with credits earned, regardless of whether or not the student passed the course(s).
Numerical grades provided by students or instructors will only be recorded on the high school transcript if they are listed on the official grade report received from the career center.
Student Schedule
It is the responsibility of the student/LC to send a copy of their career center schedule to their counselor within 5 days of registering for courses. The schedule must include the name of the career center, the courses being taken and the credits to be received. Failure to provide a schedule could result in being withdrawn from the courses and/or not receiving credit.
