PAT Team

PAT, or Panther Assistance Team, is Schuylkill Valley's Student Assistance Program.

PAT is a team of trained faculty members, including teachers, counselors, nurses, and administrators, and a liaison from the Caron Foundation, who confidentially help identify and remove barriers to student learning and success, and help connect them to outside support services.

Some topics we cover include, but are not limited to: drop in academics, attendance/truancy concerns, mental health, alcohol or substance use/abuse, violence, changes in behavior or personal characteristics, hygiene, difficulty with changes in life circumstance, and bullying.

Anyone can refer a student to PAT (self-referral, students, parents, teachers, coaches, etc.). Please let the counselors or any other PAT team member know if you would like to refer a student to PAT.
