The Enrollment Process
Intent to Enroll
Prospective students interested in attending Steele Canyon High School must first submit an Intent to Enroll Application. The Intent to Enroll Online Application will be available on our website beginning in January and will be accepted through late February. (Exact Dates TBD)
The priority for admissions for our lottery is assigned in the following order:
Siblings of returning or existing students
Students residing within the Steele Canyon High School Attendance Boundary
Children of Steele Canyon staff members
Students residing in the GUHSD attendance boundaries
All other students permitted by law
The new student lottery will take place in February. Students who are selected through the lottery will be provided information for online registration.
When the online registration form has been accepted, a link will be provided for families to make a registration appointment.
Prospective Student Events at Steele Canyon High School
Open House - Mid February
Anyone who is interested in attending Steele Canyon High School is encouraged to attend Open House. Open House is a chance for us to showcase our beautiful campus and all of our wonderful academic programs. We will be providing tours of the school and offering technical support for families who need help with the Intent to Enroll Online Application.
Spring Fling - Early May
Spring Fling is our second showcase and focuses on providing more specific information for our accepted students about extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The night begins with a message from our Principal/CEO Mr. Parr and includes sports, clubs, and performances from our performing arts department.
