9:00 - 9:15 - Greet Students in-person and online
9:15 - 9:30 - Synchronous: Morning Meeting - Both students in-person and remote
will participate in morning meeting together.
9:30 - 10:00 - Synchronous: Whole group Literacy Mini-Lesson
Both students in-person and remote will see the mini-lesson
Prepare students for Literacy Centers
Remote Students: teacher directs to the Google Classroom where
there will be instructions for how to complete Asynchronous activities.
In-person Students: Will have have Literacy Centers; however, due to
new guidelines this may consist of several different activities students
work on at their seats.
10:00 - 11:35 - Teacher has “Teacher Table” and divides students into 3 small
groups, the 2 in-person groups will be about 5-6 students, the remote
group will include all 10-12 remote students.
When students are not in a small group with the teacher they are
doing asynchronous work.
Groups might work as follows:
Blue Group (in-person): 10:10 - 10:30
Red/Yellow Group (remote): 10:35 - 11:05
Green Group (in-person): 11:10 - 11:30
Time is built in for transitions and as you get comfortable with your
groups, you may find you don’t need so much transition time. When
the Red/Yellow group is in-person they will be divided into 2 groups
and the Blue/Green group will be together online.
11:35 - 12:15 - Lunch and Recess
12:15 - 12:35 - Synchronous - Whole Group Science/ Social Studies mini-lesson
12:35 - 12:55 - Asynchronous - Science/Social Studies work
12:55 - 1:40 - Specials: 30 minutes Synchronous, 15 minutes Asynchronous
1:40 - 2:00 - Synchronous: Whole Group Math Mini-Lesson
