Defining policies, procedures and operational guides

Our policies are general guidelines about how family day care programs conduct its services, actions or business. They also provide a set of guiding principles to help with decision making.

Procedures and operational guides provide a detailed description of how each policy will be put into action. Each procedure and operational guide clearly outline:

• who will do what

• what steps they need to take and when

• which supporting forms or documents to use.

Operating model

The Operating Model is our guiding framework for administering the three programs: Family Day Care, Guardianship Family Day Care and the Respite Care Program to support children and their families.
