Youth Summit NYC 2023 is Here!

Students and Educators for Equity (SEE) invite you to the annual citywide Youth Summit. The summit will take place all day, hosted by The Facing History School and The Urban Assembly School for Design & Construction  in West 50th Street Campus, on June 8, 2023.

Co-led by students, the in-person summit brings together a collective of youth voices to highlight the effects of disproportionality and the power of restorative practices to dismantle inequities through community-building and youth-adult partnership.

Attendees will have opportunities to learn, connect, collect resources, and identify best practices that foster more inclusive and humanizing learning environments for all.

What is Youth Summit NYC?

Students and Educators for Equity (SEE) aim to bring together a collective of student voices to highlight the effects of disproportionality on students, while providing best practices to address and dismantle disproportionality. Through a youth-led summit, we elevate student perspectives in an effort to foster inclusive, humanizing, and critical learning environments for all members of our school communities.

The 2023 Youth Summit is filled with creativity! We'll be showcasing a number of performances and artwork from youth all across NYC.
