Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow is the first book in a three-book series, soon to be followed by a fourth book. It follows an eleven-year-old girl named Morrigan Crow. Morrigan grew up believing she was a curse, but comes to find out that couldn't be farther from the truth. She is whisked away to an extraordinary world called Nevermoor, where she must compete in four challenging trials to get into the magical Wundrous Society. With a giant talking cat, a vampire dwarf, and a hilarious best friend, the fun doesn't stop. However, Morrigan must uncover a shocking secret about herself....
This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. My only complaint is that the first few chapters start off a little slow.
11 out of 10 stars. That's how much I loved this book!

Do you want to read a historical novel? I recommend "Letters from Rifka" to inform you about a girl’s experience during the Russian Civil War. Rifka and her family flee to America after her family has been sentenced to death.
I give this book a perfect ten because the plot was very interesting to me and informative, as it is based on real historical events. This novel is also good for certain times when someone may have a craving for history, but doesn’t want something too heavy. Overall, I appreciate the unique perspective I gained on the experience of a civil war.

Unicorn Book Club is the 21st installment in the Phoebe and her Unicorn series. It is a much-loved series about a girl named Phoebe and her best friend, a unicorn named Marigold.
This book has numerous adventures. For example, Marigold agrees to be placed under a week-long silence spell so that she can participate in her sister's book club. An unlikely friendship also occurs between Dakota, who is Phoebe’s frenemy, and Lord Splendid Humility, a unicorn so “humble” that he always hides in a bush. Later on, chaos ensues when a game of hide and seek results in Marigold going missing, and Phoebe sets out to search for her. This is a lovely book packed with humor and friendship that I definitely recommend.
