The Portal by New Visions is a data, collaboration, and planning tool for student success. It is utilized by: schools, districts, central teams, and CBOs. 

Key Portal functionality for the Office of Students Pathways includes:  

• • Progress monitor key metrics, linking student-level profiles to dashboards showing to school, district, and citywide-data on the Vital Few Metrics.

  • Identifies patterns. Disaggregate by grade, subgroup, or program to spot who needs targeted support.

  • Supports planning and accountability. Informs advising caseloads, goal-setting, and district progress monitoring.

  • Up-to-date data - Pulls from STARS daily, sends to STARS weekly - no manual exports by users needed.
