STARS Integrated Features

Overgrad and Xello are integrated with STARS College & Career Tracker to support you and your school team with shared visibility and documentation of NYCPS academic policy requirements. The six (6) elements below automatically sync from Overgrad and Xello to STARS through a weekly* one-way to STARS. No other data is shared between the tool and STARS. 

1. 1. Assign College & Career Advisor

   2. Document Individual Progress Review (IPR) Notes** (school counselors only) 

   3. Document 1:1 Postsecondary Conference Notes**

   4. Career Goals — Includes two components:

      1. A dropdown where students (or staff) identify the student's current career cluster of their intended career pathway.

      2. An open-text field where staff document additional details about the student's specific career goal and future career plan.

   5. Confirm Postsecondary Plans (graduating students only)

   6. New for 2026–27: Document Unpaid Work-Based Learning (WBL) Hours. More information to come September 2026. 

**User must include a note in order for data to transfer to STARS.
