The Renaissance is known as a period of rebirth in political, social, and economic standards as the idea of humanism spread throughout Europe. People believed that everyone was the center of their own universe and should express it through the various forms of art. Beginning in the 14th century, printing became a new way of communication between others as they could simply share their thoughts on a piece of paper. This whole new era was boosted by rich people buying other’s artworks that often included writings, philosophises, paintings, architecture, music, and sculptures. The renaissance helped in many ways such as furthering scientific exploration, change in social perspectives, and a new opening to a world where others were not afraid to share new philosophical ideas. The various forms of art made during these times are still influential to this day. Modern recreations of these works are always being produced as they hold such philosophical values that can still apply to everyday life. Without the help of these talented artists, our world would probably still be close-minded towards non-traditional views. In a way, this has given us the opportunity to explore new ideas and freely express our newly found information.
