Library Mission Statement
The mission of CPC’s School Library Media program is to ensure that students and staff are learners who engage in research to effectively use ideas and information. The school library empowers students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful researchers. Students become responsible citizens as they enjoy the world of writing and learn to take care of the written word.
Library Policy
Books are due three weeks from the date that you check them out. Students are allowed to take out three books at one time. Overdue notices will be sent out when books are overdue. It is the responsibility of all students to return books on or before the due date so all students can enjoy the stories in our school library. Students may renew books for a time extension through the school librarian. If a book is lost or misplaced, students are responsible for the value of the book.
