The PTA:
advocates for students and families
updates parents and families about the school
plans and runs activities for parents and families
PTAs can support schools in a number of ways, including:
hosting parent workshops
organizing activities for families—both academic and social
raising funds
running volunteer events
PA Meetings are held monthly on Thursdays at 5:30 PM.

Persons in parental relation
Officers
Officers of a PA/PTA are responsible for the PA/PTA budget, events and activities. Officers are elected by membership annually.

School Leadership Team (SLT)
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of people who develop educational policies for their school. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies.
The SLT:
Provides ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
Plays an important role in school-based decision-making
Helps to make school cultures more collaborative.
School Leadership Team meetings occur every month and are open to all community members.
