We had 652 students vote!
Elections is an event our school holds where civic members get the chance to run for an office position such as president, vice president, secretary, and treasure. Those whom are not elected, take role as a member of civics or have an opportunity to run for grade representative.
Civics members planning on running for a position such as president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer are required to create a campaign video and poster advertising their qualities as to why they would be the best fit for that role.
posters will be posted throughout the school for students to read and learn about the running officers. videos will later be sent to school teachers; they will present them to the class
a survey will be distributed to every student and they get to vote for a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.Â
*there is also a separate voting ballot for only civic council members that can vote to elect a grade delegate for each 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.*
listed to the left are the list of officer positions and what they are jobs are, what they are expected to do as that role, and their general responsibilities
