Events

Elections will be held on November 6th.  

We will be voting for 4 different office roles. These roles include president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Requirements to run have been to create a video and poster campaigning and expressing your qualities. Good luck to all who are running.

Students will be given the opportunity to write a soapbox speech expressing how they feel about a topic in the community. All grades, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade all have a role if they choose to participate.

The student lounge is a project our school has created from a previous participatory budget. It is a safe space where students can go to have fun, relax, and hang with friends. We have used it to encourage kindness and helping others by creating a cost of two cougar chips which you can earn by being kind, helping others, going above and beyond, etc.

The participatory budget our school receives goes to fixing and improving our school environment. Students are encouraged to give ideas as to what this budget should be spent on and what they think should be improved or added.

This year our BUDGET is $2,260!!!
