The Ambassadors share their Thoughts about the experience at the United Nations (UN) 

I am proud to be a junior ambassador and inspired to be a global citizen. I felt hopeful, happy focused and proud during the trip to the UN.

I felt nervous, grateful, valued, excited and happy during the trip to the United Nations. The experience inspired me to study more about the UN and maybe work for thr UN one day.

The facts that stood  out to me during my visit to the United Nations was that 1.3 billion people live in multi-dimensional poverty and one in five children live in extreme poverty worldwide. This inspires me to bring attention to the issue so something can be done about it.

What stood out to me during the trip to the UN is the pictures I saw of heroes who are helping to solve issues with hunger and poverty around the world. I want to spread awareness to everyone like my teachers, family and friends about hunger and poverty, I want to sketch drawings for the UN that's why I drew the picture during my time in afterschool.

 I feel honored to be selected for the Junior Ambassadors' club and during the trip to the UN I felt excited, and I had fun learning alot of information.

The trip to the UN inspires me and makes me grateful for the things I have because some kids in the world don't have anywhere to study. Every person in the world should have access to food and a good education. I learned that the universal declaration of human rights is an important document that all member states follow to  allow girls and boys to have the same power.
