HSTAT Library Policies

The library is a communal space that works best when we all work together

Library Book Lending Policy:

• Any member of the HSTAT community may borrow up to 5 books at a time.

• Please return books to the library desk within three weeks, or ask the librarian to renew them.

• You will receive weekly reminder emails about overdue books.

• Please inform the librarian of lost or damaged books. There are no fines, but please let us know.

Library Agreement:

• The main purpose of the library is for studying. Students who are studying or reading have priority.

• Your behavior should not disturb others or cause excessive noise.

• Quiet conversations, group projects, and games are allowed.

• Please do not eat in the library. No food, gum, candy, or snacks.

• All devices must remain on mute.

• Please clean up your area and return furniture to where you found it.

• All students are expected to read and understand the library agreement.

• All school rules apply in the library.
