Stand-alone ENL – Pull-Out Model

The Pull-Out ENL model provides students with intensive, small-group language instruction in a focused learning environment outside of the general education classroom. These targeted sessions are designed to meet students' individual language needs through explicit instruction in foundational literacy and language skills, including phonics, vocabulary development, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Working in small groups allows the ENL teacher to provide personalized, data-driven instruction, monitor student progress closely, and adjust support based on each learner's strengths and areas for growth. This focused approach accelerates English language development, reinforces academic concepts, and equips students with the linguistic and literacy skills needed to participate confidently and successfully in grade-level instruction across all content areas.
