Stand-alone ENL – Pull-Out Model

The Pull-Out model provides students with more intensive, individualized language instruction outside of their homerooms. During these small-group sessions, the ENL teacher focuses on specific language skills, such as explicit phonics instruction, vocabulary development, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. These sessions allow for more personalized attention, enabling the ENL teacher to address the unique needs of each student, accelerate their language acquisition, and support their content knowledge development in a more focused setting.
