Integrated ENL – Push-In Model

In the Push-In model, the ENL teacher collaborates directly with classroom teachers to provide language support within the general education classroom. This approach allows students to engage in regular lessons while receiving individualized language instruction. By working alongside content-area teachers, the ENL educator facilitates students' understanding of the material - using scaffolding techniques to help students comprehend and participate meaningfully in academic content at their current proficiency level. This collaborative model ensures that students receive both language development and content support simultaneously.
