The new Midwood Jazz Band Club ("The Swingin' Hornets") is a student-organized "big-band" style jazz performing ensemble that meets after school in the back band room (B19).

A goal of the club is to provide a creative space for students to improve their playing skills in a jazz style and take part in performing and organizing music-centered events. 

Students who play any instrument (including guitar and bass) are encouraged to get involved by completing the Jazz Band Club Interest Form
