Registration applications can be completed online at dreambigstartsmall.org or pick up an application packet in the elementary school office. Spaces are limited and, for 4-year-olds, will be filled based on GSRP prioritization guidelines.
Be sure to put SCHOOLCRAFT as your program choice. Applications will not be processed until all required documents have been received:
Kalamazoo County Common Application for 2026/2027 school year
Proof of Income (W-2 or 2 most recent pay stubs)
Legal copy of child’s birth certificate (does not need to be the original)
Proof of Residency
Health Appraisal (completed by parent/guardian & physician)
Up-to-date immunization record
4-year-old program will be a 5-day-a-week program, tentatively scheduled from 8:00-3:00 (Mondays-Thursdays) and 8:00-11:00 (Fridays). SCS is looking into an after-school program that would extend its care into the evening. (More to come)
4-year-old programming is currently fully funded by GSRP, making this a FREE programming experience for students and families
Students will be provided with two meals a day at no additional cost (breakfast and lunch). Snacks will also be provided by the district. The only supplies families will be expected to provide are any hygienic items (diapers/wipes/so on). Licensing rules do not allow outside food in this fully funded program.
