3-year-old program will be a 5-day-a-week program, tentatively scheduled from 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM. SCS is looking into an after-school program that would extend its care into the evening. (More to come)
The 3-year-old program will allow for tuition assistance through KC Ready 4’s. This non-profit supports families with tuition assistance based on your household income. Eligibility for this assistance is determined by your online application to dreambigstartsmall.org.
For families who do not qualify for tuition assistance, the cost breakdown for the 3’s program is as follows:
Per week: $275
Per year (33 weeks): $9,075
Families without tuition assistance will be asked to pay weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or the full year up front. (Families will have the option to select a payment plan at a later date, but will be asked to commit to that plan for the year.)
Students will be provided with two meals a day at no additional cost (breakfast and lunch). Snacks will also be provided by the district. The only supplies families will be expected to provide are any hygienic items (diapers/wipes/so on).
