Finding peace...

Schoolcraft's Peace Zone was developed by the Department of Student Life in 2020 in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, while students and staff are experiencing a high level of stress, anxiety, and disregulation.
Schoolcraft uses the Zones of Regulation to help students learn more about how they are feeling, and find ways to process those feelings and cope with them, to move into a more comfortable state of being.

While all of the zones are okay to feel from time to time, people do their best work in the green zone. In the green zone, we feel calm, focused, and happy. Our bodies are calm, and we feel ready to learn and do our best work.

The goal of this virtual peace zone is to:

  • Help students learn strategies to achieve a peaceful state of mind

  • Provide access to mental health support in the moment
