Use this quick online tool to determine if your use of copyrighted material in your class is ok under the Fair Use clause. Also, check out the Resources for Teachers tab for some great resources explaining all you need to know about how copyright laws affect your work as a teacher.
The Margaret Wilson professional library for educators: go to the OCT homepage, log in to the Members site using the email and password you have on file with OCT, then choose "Library" from the list of options under the Members heading on the right side of the page.
Resources include:
print books that you can request be mailed to you
ebooks that you can download to your personal device
entire magazines that you can read online and/or download and print (such as Macleans, Wired, Education Week, Education Canada, etc.)
search databases for full text articles from professional journals and other research magazines
search for past articles from the Professionally Speaking magazine

Ontario Educational Resource Bank - classroom activities, interactive online activities, lessons and entire course units; teacher login/password is required (see file in the Library folder in CCEyes or ask one of the teacher-librarians)
