Enrollment starts March 18, 2024
A limited number of seats are available, and all students must fully commit and engage in the program for the entire school year in order to secure a spot in the school.
If families of current students submit the online application for the upcoming school year by 11:59 pm on April 08, 2024 and make the full payment before 5:30 pm on April 12, 2024, they will qualify for a $45 early bird discount per student.
Current students who have submitted their enrollment application by 11:59 pm on April 08, 2024 and paid their tuition fees before 5:30 pm on April 12, 2024, will guarantee a spot in a language class. Seats in Elective classes are assigned to students in the order of their tuition fee payments, following a first-come-first-served policy. From April 12, 2024, onwards, seats in the Language and Elective classes will be allocated to students based on the order in which their tuition fees are paid, for both current and new students, there is no guarantee that current students will secure a spot in any class.
Students in grades 3 and above who attend Sunday Session are able to select an elective course on their own. Please ensure that the elective courses chosen for your child are appropriate for their grade level and are offered on either Sunday morning or afternoon to prevent them from signing up for a class that is not accessible to them.
Students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade who attend Sunday sessions, as well as students who attend Saturday sessions, will automatically be assigned to the "Chinese Culture & Language Introduction" as their Elective Class. There is no need to select an Elective Class from the list when submitting your admission application. The purpose of this course is to offer extensive opportunities for conversation practice and to introduce students to Chinese culture.
Upon submitting your admission application online, you will receive an email confirmation. An invoice will be emailed to you by the school within 5 business days of you submitting online. If you have not received an email invoice within 5 business days, please check your spam folder or login to your school account at www.sccca.org to access the invoice. (Sign in to Sycamore -> My Accounting -> Summary). You can make the payment instantly online by Credit Card or eCheck. The step-by-step instructions are available at https://sites.google.com/sccca.org/sycamorepaymentmethods/home.
Your enrollment will remain pending until the school has received the payment. Students' seat assignments are determined by the school based on the order in which tuition fees are received. If a class reaches maximum capacity, the school will inform you after payment has been received. You have the option to be placed on a waitlist.
Parents of new kindergarten and first grade students are required to provide the school office with the student's birth certificate or passport for age verification. Kindergarten students must reach five years old by September 1, 2024, while first graders must be six years old by the same date.
All new students starting first grade and above must complete an aptitude assessment with the school. Assessments take approximately 30 minutes. Appointments for assessments are highly recommended to minimize wait times. Please call (949) 559-6868 to make an appointment.
Before June 10, 2024 and after August 16 , 2024, assessment appointments are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Class Changes
Students may submit a request form to the Curriculum Department to change classes. For changes in class levels, students must undergo an assessment. Undergoing an assessment does not guarantee a class level change. Class changes are dependent on class availability. Class changes must be submitted to the school office and not to the teachers.
For class changes after the first day of class, the school will charge a $25 fee for each class change, unless the change is recommended by the teacher.
All high school students from 9th through 12th grades are eligible for our ICS High School Extra Credit Program.
