Learning Tools and Directions
Clever is a login management tool that students use to access digital tools and websites. You can learn more about logging into Clever by clicking here. Below is an interactive resource that gives a quick summary of tools your child may see under Clever.
Reading
Renaissance myON® Reader is a student-centered, personalized literacy environment that gives students access to more than 6,000 enhanced digital books. Titles are dynamically matched to each individual student’s interests, grade and Lexile® reading level. Combined with a suite of close reading tools and embedded supports, myON Reader fosters student engagement and achievement.
Webinars on how to working within the software are scheduled. You will be able to attend these to learn how to support your children at home who may be interested in using the tool.
If your child has never used the software, when they first login, they will be promoted to take an initial assessment---which can vary in length by student depending on their decoding and comprehension skills. This assessment also reviews their interests and provides them high interest books that are also around their lexile level.
Your school's reading specialist can also be a support if you have questions finding the "just right" texts for your child.

Math
IXL
IXL is a comprehensive, standards-aligned math program offering unlimited practice in thousands of skills for all of our students in grades K-5. One of the best things about IXL is that students can access it from school and from home! IXL is not just about helping your child learn math — it's also about helping your child learn to love the subject. Unlike traditional workbooks and drills, IXL's practice game boards engage students in their math lessons. As they work for hours to uncover new prizes on their game board, they'll be gaining new math skills and confidence along the way. Although other subjects are listed, we only use IXL for math.

As a note, all K-2 Students passwords have been reset for ease of access.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
