Learning Plans

Learning Plans for Grades K-5

Starting the week of April 20th, teachers in all grades will be sharing teaching lessons in addition to menu activities. You will receive weekly information and updates from your child's teachers regarding these lessons as well as menu experiences. We will no longer be posting district wide menus. Teachers are continuing to collaborate across our district and work with school teams in designing learning experiences. Just as a reminder, please make sure you child is logged into their SCASD account via Clever using the Chrome browser, which is the only way they will be able to access our SCASD youtube channel.

Elementary Learning Plans

  • This week we have posted learning plans by specials areas and interventions/supports that outline experiences students can choose to complete. Please know that individual teachers approach these learning plans in ways that meet a variety of students' needs and therefore may not be exactly the same across our school district. In general, we have created learning experiences that could involve:

  • four to five hours per week for students in K-2

  • five to seven hours per week for students in 3-5.

Our teachers continue to be committed to meeting the needs of our students in this remote learning platform. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this very new process for all of us.
