Caring Campaign

Our fifth graders have the unique opportunity to regularly reach out to their community and share their kindness with those in need and at-risk around us. Through various relationships with helpful services in our area, fifth graders are able to donate time, energy, and resources to ensure that their kindness reaches beyond the walls of our Spring Creek Elementary School. Our overarching theme is to "put good into the world around us." Our goal is to show how simple it can be to make our small part of the world a brighter, better place for everyone.

Though we will ask for donations in October, we will kick off our Caring Campaign in November. This campaign will be a monthly venture for our students. At times, we may ask for donations of materials or supplies to help. There will be other activities that will be covered by your teachers.

Our fifth graders’ philanthropic efforts have included:

-Thank you notes to especially helpful people in our lives

-Dog Pull Toys for shelter pets

-Dog treats for shelter pets

-Jared Boxes

-Veteran notes

-Nursing Home “Thinking of you” notes

-And lastly, our Caring Fair with donations to three local outreach programs that serve our community.

This year, they chose: Pets Come First, Centre Safe, and Centre Wildlife Care
