Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade will use one Zoom link for all Specials classes (art, music, PE, STEM).

Seesaw/Google Classroom:
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade:
- Students will continue to post photos of their finished projects on Seesaw. Your student is already enrolled in the Seesaw class.
3rd - 5th grade:
- Students will be able to access material and post photos of their projects on their own teacher's Google Classroom. Art class projects and assignments can be found under the topic "Art with Mrs. Lashua"
6th grade:
- Students will be able to access material and post photos of their projects on the 6th Grade Art & Music Google Classroom. Art class projects and assignments can be found under the topic "Art with Mrs. Lashua."

What to Expect/Que Esperar
- We will have art EVERY WEEK now! Please encourage your child to participate as often as possible. Art and creative expression are a valuable part of the whole learning experience.
- We will continue to do projects students can do with materials around the house. Please make sure your student has something to draw on and something to draw with when they come to art class.

A Little Bit about Mrs. Lashua
I love art!
My elementary school did not have an art teacher, but I took art classes all through jr. high and high school and I studied art history in college.
I think that all art is an important part of learning how to appreciate and care for the world around us and I have found that art is everywhere!
It's hard for me to pick a favorite artist or type of art - all of it is pretty amazing!
I live in Santa Barbara with my husband and my son. Mr. Lashua is a teacher too! He teaches theatre at Santa Barbara Jr. High. My son is in 3rd grade, but he does not go to Washington.
Besides art, I love cats, looking for planets in the night sky, museums, the beach, the farmer's market, cooking, reading, spending time exploring with my family, drinking tea, and learning new things.
I also really love being your art teacher!
Un poco sobre la Sra. Lashua
¡Amo el arte!
Mi escuela primaria no tenía un maestro de arte, pero tomé clases de arte durante todo el secundaria y preparatoria y estudié historia del arte en la universidad.
Creo que todo el arte es una parte importante para aprender a apreciar y cuidar el mundo que nos rodea y he descubierto que el arte está en todas partes.
Es difícil para mí elegir un artista o tipo de arte favorito, ¡todo es bastante sorprendente!
Vivo en Santa Bárbara con mi esposo y mi hijo. ¡El Sr. Lashua también es maestro! Enseña teatro en Santa Barbara Jr. High. Mi hijo está en tercer grado, pero no va a Washington.
Además del arte, me encantan los gatos, buscar planetas en el cielo nocturno, los museos, la playa, el mercado de agricultores, cocinar, leer, pasar tiempo explorando con mi familia, beber té y aprender cosas nuevas.
