Let the quiet, speak through technology
Technology -Supported Learning Environments- Use technology to encourage and facilitate student-centered learning activities.
Online learning applications can give all students a voice, even the shy and quiet ones. It can give students an opportunity to practice with English while they are still in the receptive stage and receive instant feedback. Threaded discussions, shared Google applications assignments, and documents, can be used to encourage deeper learning while adding a layer of peer anonymity. Using a backchannel during direct instruction can also be helpful in allowing all students to have an avenue for sharing their disposition on a topic.
