Mrs. Rachel Middaugh is the choir director at Southern Boone Middle School, where she has been inspiring young singers since August 2023. With a passion for helping every student find their unique voice, she creates a fun, supportive environment where choir members can grow both musically and personally.

Mrs. Middaugh holds a Master of Arts in Education and brings 22 years of teaching experience in music education. She believes that choir is not only about singing—it’s about teamwork, confidence, and creating a community where everyone belongs.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Middaugh enjoys spending time with her supportive husband, two high school sons, and their two snuggly dogs. She also loves training singers in her private voice studio, reading, traveling, exploring new hobbies, and—most of all—watching her students soar both on stage and in life!
