Chain of Command

To ensure questions and concerns are addressed as efficiently as possible, students and parents should begin with the staff member closest to the issue. If the concern is not resolved, it may be brought to the next appropriate level:

1. Classroom Teacher

2. School Counselor (as appropriate)

3. Vice Principal

4. Principal

5. Director of Curriculum & Instruction (academic matters only)

6. Superintendent of Schools

7. Board of Education (in accordance with Board policy)

Most concerns can be resolved at the classroom or school level. We encourage students and parents to communicate directly with the appropriate staff member before escalating a concern.
