Plant Science

Class Description

The Plant Science class should be one of advanced study of history, marketing, and design of the plant science industry.  Students will be exposed to a variety of plant science industry principles and procedures, history, marketing and management, as well as reproduction of plants.  Students will be exposed to a section of understanding the plant science industry from a consumer’s point of view as well as a producer.  Students will be engaged in planting, germinating, pollinating, and reproducing a variety of plant species.  The class may also be involved in selling merchandise at the end of the semester.
