Miss Hodsden - Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources
About Me
Hello! I'm Miss Hodsden, and I'm thrilled to be returning near my hometown to teach agricultural education. My passion for agriculture developed at a young age while assisting on my family's farm. My favorite thing to help with was the lambing and calving season. During my high school years, I was an active member of the Morrill-Mitchell FFA chapter, competing in a variety of leadership and career development events. I'm excited to be joining Mr. Held as an FFA advisor this year. After graduating from Mitchell JR/Sr. high school, I pursued my studies in Animal Science at Colby Community College, where I ran cross country and track. Upon completion of my associate's degree, I transferred to Fort Hays State University. I changed my major to agrciutlure education to align with both my passion for agriculture and my love for teaching others . Throughout my academic journey, I continued to pursue my passion for running. Outside of teaching, you can find me helping out on my family's farm, baking, or participating in outdoor activities.
