Animal Biology

Class Description

The Animal Biology class should be one of study of the animal science industry.  Students will be exposed to: domestication of animals, breeds of livestock, livestock digestive systems, feeds and feeding, as well as meat science.  Students will also be exposed to a section of understanding the livestock industry from a consumer’s point of view.  Students will also examine food science and technology as it relates to them as producers and consumers.
