Scottsbluff Public Schools - Every Child, Every Day
Class Description
Bluff is the Scottsbluff High School yearbook. Each year, the Bluff staff gets together to create a 200+ page yearbook that reflects the exciting school year! The yearbook features a variety of students, the successes of the school, and the current events of the year. It is the goal of the Bluff staff to include each bearcat within the yearbook and to show our school pride! Our yearbook offers an inside view of the opportunities present at SHS and the perspectives of our diverse student body. SHS yearbooks can be purchased from a Bluff staff member, from Miss Keim, or on jostens.com. Being a part of the yearbook gives students the chance to meet new people, tell stories, design fun and engaging yearbook spreads, and learn the importance of deadlines.
The Echoes is Scottsbluff High School's newspaper. We publish articles about recent news stories, sporting events, feature stories, entertainment reviews, opinions, and more. The Echoes is an entirely student written newspaper with student photography. It is about the bearcats, made by the bearcats! Being a part of newspaper teaches students real life skills such as writing, editing, working with a team, designing, and interviewing. The Echoes is published 3-4 times per semester in print and the website below is updated with stories periodically. Students who take part in the Echoes staff gain experience in a rich career field of journalism!
