Reporters from Team 50 are covering the 39th SANTA BARBARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, running from February 7th - 17th, 2024. In addition to attending red carpet award events and viewing and reviewing several films, they had the opportunity to speak with filmmakers and some of the subjects of documentaries!
After a screening, the filmmakers of "Ashima", producer MINJI CHANG, director/cinematographer KENJI TSUKAMOTO, and editor SAM RONG walked reporters SOPHIA & WYNNE through their documentary about a young woman rock-climber, Ashima Shiraishi.
