Computer Science Standards K–12 Progression (XLSX) - Overview of the CS Standards by grade level and concept
Each computer science standard is comprised of a core concept, what the students are supposed to know, and a core practice, how the student will interact with computer science.
The core concepts describe the CS content knowledge that students should understand. Each core concept contains subconcepts, which increase in complexity according to grade span.
These sunburst charts show the QUANTITY of CORE CA Computer Science Standards by CONCEPT and SUB-CONCEPT. The second chart further shows delineation between coding and non-coding concepts and sub-concepts.
