Dr. SaravanaVadivu Arunachalam has received his B.Sc., degree in Chemistry from Sri Ramakrishna Misson Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science(Autonomous) (2004), Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He did his Masters in Chemistry at Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous) (2006), Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University and he received the  Ph.D. degree from Bharathiar University (2012), Coimbatore.

Research Works 

Hydrogen Production: Production of hydrogen through the water splitting reaction by means of electrochemical and photocatalytic reaction. Also, the deconstruction of waste plastic for the production of hydrogen.

Photocatalysis: I have strong experience in the preparation of heterogeneous photocatalysts (Graphene oxide, binary, tertiary and quaternary nanocomposites) materials and kinetic evaluation of the photocatalytic degradation process.

Ruthenium Schiff base complexes: Synthesis, Spectral and Structural Characterisation biological and catalytic applications.
