She received a B.Sc., degree in Chemistry at Presidency College, University of Madras, Chennai, M.Sc., degree in Physical Chemistry, University of Madras, Chennai and M.Phil., degree in Physical Chemistry, University of Madras, Chennai. She was received her Ph.D. degree at University of Madras, Chennai.

Professional Experience

She was worked as JRF in DST-Purse-Phase-II in the Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Madras, Guindy Campus, Chennai. She worked as an Lecturer in Chemistry, Adhiyaman Arts and Science College for Women, Uthangarai, Tamilnadu from Sep 2013 to Dec 2014, also worked as Assistant Professor in Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering, Chennai, Tamilnadu from Nov 2020 to June 2023. Now she is working as an Assistant Professor (S.G.) in the Department of Electrochemistry, Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Saveetha University, Chennai.

Awards and Fellowship

She has received DST-Purse-Phase-II fellowship from Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Madras, Chennai. She have qualified State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) in 2016 conducted Mother Teresa Women's University, Kodaikanal.
