Personal Information
I have completed my UG degree in Arignar Anna Govt. Arts College, Trichy, Tamilnadu, India and PG degree in Periyar E.V.R College, Trichy, Tamilnadu, India. I did my doctoral research on Diluted Magnetic semiconductors and the title of my thesis is “Structural, Optical, Electrical and Magnetic Properties of Certain Transition Metals doped Zn0.96Cu0.04O Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors”. I also qualified the eligibility test which conducted by state government for lectureship in the year 2016.
I have 12 years of research & teaching experience in various institutions and I had a research position as project fellow in an UGC major research project. 24 M.Sc., students have been completed their final year project work under my guidance and 7 M. Phil., scholars did their research work under my supervision. At present, 2 research scholar are doing their research work under my supervision.
Presently, I am working on the preparation of different metal oxide magnetic nanoparticles and metal sulphide nanoparticles for biomedical applications such as Magnetic Hyperthermia, Anticancer activities, Magnetic imaging, etc. Moreover, my research work is also focused on the effect of Crystal Field Splitting on the optical properties of these materials.
